Abstract: The concept of Gastrodiplomacy is emerging and needs to be explored as far as there is a long tradition in many countries to combine signatures of contacts/treaties and gala dinners. These particular moments are carefully planned and organised around products, culture and traditions. The aim of this article is to explore the interface between gastronomy and diplomacy.
